Bizarrely I felt the last one a few years back (~2002) that felt like someone had slammed their door a few doors down. Which was strange in itself as we had no neighbours. After a quick recon to see if someone had broken into an empty house I went back to bed. Only found out in the morning when Natasha Kaplinsky pouted at me and told me it was an earthquake.

It was my friend Sam’s stag-do in Oxford. Organized by his friend Pete, a good time was had by all apart from Dan who somehow managed to fall from the top bunk despite having safety rails to prevent this and spent the Sunday in pain. I can’t recount any of the stories because they will make good blackmail material in years to come. Suffice to say I have some very interesting photos….
Gizmo, our hippopota-puss, has lost enough weight so that she can jump up to where the kittens food resides. That means she won’t be loosing anymore weight. Mrs Bear is at her wits end and is quite frankly sick of soaking Giz with the Super-Soaker trying to keep her off the worksurface.
Been thwarted at the last hurdle at passing my driving test by my instructor – his car has died a death and it won’t be ready for tomorrows test. I can’t get a refund because the final date to change the test was on Monday, and money is short due to stag do (this month) and weddings (next month).
…but I haven’t had much to post about. I have been working on XML + XSLT with the help of the kindly folks on comp.text.xml. Hope to get some work done on my projects as I have a week off, but I guess Mrs. Bear has some tasks lined up for me to get me away from the computer for a bit.
